The quarter that was good

by Alex King

DataDog (DDOG) stock was down a little post earnings earlier this week, about 4% in premarket trading (it was down a lot more earlier). Talking heads ascribe this to ‘guidance’. From where I sit the quarter was very good and since deferred revenue growth is accelerating, and since RPO has been accelerating (don’t have this quarter’s RPO number yet), I don’t see many reasons to believe that recognized revenue growth is going to be a major problem in the coming year or so.
