Old Before Its Time
Alteryx AYX 0.00%↑ was a 2017 software IPO, a perpetual-licence sheep in SaaS-Wolf's clothing. When the business model weakness overwhelmed the numbers, the stock hit the deck, and it wasn't helped by the investor pile-on of growth stocks thereafter. In staff accounts we bought the dip - a little too early as it turned out - but we have sat tight and our own position is threatening to be in the money quite soon. Through the recent market turbulence - meaning, in the last few weeks - the stock has held up rather well. All taken together this means that technically at least, the stock looks as if it could move up.
